Washington – The largest rate imposed by the President of the United States (United States) Donald Trump so far has been in force. This policy can trigger retaliation and increase commercial tension, which will disturb the global economy.

The “basic” rate of 10% begins to enter into force in the sea port of the United States, at the airport and in the Customs of the Warehouse at 12:01 ET (04:01 GMT) on Saturday (4/4/2025).

This marks Trump’s total rejection of the tariff system agreed in World War II.

Among the countries that were exposed to 10% the rates were Australia, Britain, Colombia, Argentina, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

The commercial gap, according to the White House, has been driven by the “absence of reciprocity” in relationships and other policies such as the “value added tax”.

The Customs Bulletin and Border Protection of the United States for the sender shows that there is no grace period for the water load at midnight on Saturday.

However, the US Customs and Border Protection Bulletin provides a 51 -day grace period for the load loaded on a ship or plane and on the United States path before 12:01 pm et on Saturday.

This load must arrive at 12:01 pm ET (4:01 in the morning GMT) on May 27 to avoid importing rights of 10%.

In addition, on April 9, Trump’s “reciprocal” rates from 11% to 50% will start in force.

Imports from the European Union will be charged a rate of 20%, while Chinese goods will charge a rate of 34%, so Trump’s new total exaggerations against China are 54%.
