Sergei Rybalchenko, a coach of a children’s and youth sports school in the village of Nikolskoye, Belgorod region, together with other residents, rescued a woman who was under the rubble of a house due to shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Rybalchenko was one of the first to arrive at the scene. Those who were near the destroyed house did not immediately understand the situation. However, they quickly responded when they heard a crash coming from under the rubble, Channel Five reports. One woman was trapped under the rubble.
“We realized that it was right under our feet because it started to hit. We started to clean everything up and first we freed the woman, who was lying with her head towards us,” – said.
As reported EADailyOn September 8, the Governor of the Belgorod region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, announced that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had attacked the village of Nikolskoye. As a result of the first attack, three people were injured: a woman and two children. The former provided medical assistance on the spot, and the children were hospitalized. Dozens of buildings were damaged.
