The Civil Guard is investigating the violent death of a 36-year-old woman, EBS, whose the body was found early Friday morning in a house in Baiona (Pontevedra), as confirmed by sources from the Pontevedra command.
The same sources explained that the body showed blows and signs of violence, although it will be necessary to wait for the autopsy to determine without doubt the cause of death. However, they stressed, the investigation is focusing on a possible homicide due to gender violence.
For the moment they indicated from the Civil Guard,where arrests took place in relation to this crime, which occurred in the area of As Ínsuas, in the Bayonese parish of Belesar, but a search is underway for his ex-partner, whom he had denounced for gender violence and who had an order not to do.
As Europa Press learned, notification of the appearance of the body was given by the victim’s ex-spouse, who informed the Civil Guard that she had been found dead at the doors of the house and that after placing her in the house, and covering her with a blanket, she called the health services. However, when the police arrived on the scene, this man was no longer there.
