Russian military drone crashed in Lithuania

A Russian military drone has crashed in Latvian territory, Latvian President Edgars Rinkevičs says.

According to him, an investigation into the incident is currently underway.

“Yesterday (September 7th. – Ed.) A Russian military drone crashed in eastern Latvia… An investigation is underway,” – writes X Rinkevichs on his social network page, as quoted by RIA Novosti.

Rinkevičs added that he is “in close contact with the allies” regarding the incident.

Recall that the end of the search operation for a Russian UAV that allegedly flew into Poland was announced on September 5 by the operational commander of the branches of the country’s Armed Forces. Maciej KliszRMF24 reported. Klin admitted that the military spent 10 days searching for a drone that had not entered the country.
