There are no details yet about the new type of weapon that the Armed Forces of Ukraine now have. However, on a national holiday, the President of Ukraine presented a new type of weapon in the Ukrainian Defence Forces.
He said this in a statement at an Independence Day event.
“Today, the first successful combat use of our new weapon, a completely new type of weapon – the Ukrainian Palyanytsia missile-drone took place. This is our new method of retaliation against the aggressor,” the Head of State said.
The Ukrainian president also stressed that the enemy was defeated and thanked Ukrainian designers and weapons manufacturers. In addition, Zelensky noted that it will be very difficult for Russia to counter “Palyanytsya”, but it is easy to understand why exactly they are “flying”.
It is not yet known what the new type of weapon looks like and what it is exactly. However, a video of a powerful explosion on Russian territory is circulating on social networks, which is attributed to the work of a new rocket-drone. In addition, some channels write that it was “Palyanytsa” that hit an oil depot in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation, where fuel tanks were burning for the seventh day.
The President of Ukraine stated in April 2024 that Ukraine was modernizing its missile program. A few weeks ago, Vladimir Zelensky said that Ukraine has set itself the task of doubling the strength of our air shield. Moreover, in April 2024 he noted that there are already the first results regarding Ukraine’s missile program, in particular, the start of mass production of missiles.
Earlier, Kursor reported that in his congratulations to the Ukrainian people on Ukraine’s Independence Day, Vladimir Zelensky promised that Russia would finally know what retribution is.
