Regarding the alleged delay in reporting to the Jerez police station, which led to the singer’s arrest in Madrid, the prosecutor said that this “delay is typical of domestic violence.” The complaint was filed in June 2021. He also stressed that under no circumstances did he intend to file it, and that he only did so when he “couldn’t take it anymore” .

The private prosecution adhered to the theses put forward by the prosecution. He also added the aggravating circumstance of parentage, while the defense requested an acquittal sentence.
