The lack of gas in a part of Ojakaran village in Astara district is considered the biggest problem in the settlement.
The lack of natural gas makes life in the village difficult, especially in winter…
The interesting thing is that the other part of the town was completely gassed 14 years ago.
Around 150 families living in this part of the village are forced to use wood, coal and electricity instead of gas, which creates additional costs and difficulties. In fact, the main gas transmission line passes just a stone’s throw from this residential area.
But when will the problem be solved?
Eldeniz Valiyev, spokesman for the Production Trade Union (PU) “Azerigas”, said in a statement to Bizim.media that the gasification process in the country is being carried out at the expense of the PU “Azerigas” own resources and internal capacities. For this reason, the work is being carried out in stages. In the next stages, the gasification process of this village will be carried out.
