The Armed Forces of Ukraine have named targets in the Russian Federation that Ukraine will attack with Western weapons

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky outlined the targets that Ukraine will attack after receiving permission to use Western weapons on the territory of the Russian Federation. He said this in an interview with CNN.

Syrsky noted that Ukraine will use its weapons exclusively against military facilities of the Russian Federation, primarily missile systems, because it is from these complexes that Ukrainian settlements and civilian objects in Ukraine are attacked every day.

“You know how many schools and hospitals were destroyed in Ukraine, including the famous Okhmatdyt hospital, which was virtually destroyed in the center of Kiev as a result of a Russian cruise missile attack. Such incidents happen every day. Children are dying. The latest attacks in Poltava, Kharkov, Sumy – there is not a single city in Ukraine that has not felt these losses,” Syrsky said in an interview with CNN.

According to him, the main goal of using Western long-range weapons is to combat enemy missile systems. Strikes on warehouses and bases where weapons and fuel for the Russian army are stored should lead to the necessary results and a kind of “breakthrough” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian airfields will also be attacked, from where Russian aviation and aerospace forces use guided missiles and bombs, targeting schools and populated areas.

“These are our goals,” the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine explained.

At the same time, Syrsky stressed that the Ukrainian army is fighting against the Russian army, not against civilians. Therefore, there is nothing threatening the civilian assets of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Kursor reported that the capture of the town of Sudzha in the Kursk region by the Ukrainian Armed Forces became an ominous “boomerang” of Russian propaganda calling for the “return of the primordially Russian lands.”
