Honestly, this match was unforgettable, and I still remember his details for sure. I have just returned from a chronic shoulder injury that I still have. During the match, I lost the first group, then I returned a lot and won after 3 and a half hours, and at that time I felt that this player was different. Our coach always assured us that we have the opportunity to achieve a high level, and this match was a reminder of this. Therefore, I am not proud specifically because at that time I defeated the player as Yannik, but rather a realistic moment that showed me the size of the opportunities that we can achieve if the corresponding environment and confidence in the soul are found.
> What is the difference between you and Yannik Senner?
The main difference, in my opinion, is complete devotion to tennis. This sport requires great adherence in terms of time, travel and expenses, since the player is far from his family over long periods of the year.
In 2015, I joined the Tennis Academy in France to develop my level. The training was excellent, but the study there was difficult, and they emphasized me to participate in external tournaments.
After some time, I decided to return to Saudi Arabia and work with a private coach.
He added: at this stage, I was absent at the school for more than 30 days a year, and yet this was not enough to achieve the required level. At that time, I was injured in my shoulder, which influenced my progress and confidence, and I was very close to entering the qualifying qualifying championships at the Australian Open in 2017, where I was only two centers from the site.
As for the material side, tennis is a very expensive sport, and its costs can reach more than 300 thousand Riyals per year. Although my father gave me all the possible support, this burden remains magnificent for any family. In addition, culture in our society tends to encourage students to complete their university education, and not take into account a sports march that may seem risky.
Nevertheless, she tried to balance and decided to go to the United States of America to play university tennis. Unfortunately, my university’s choice was not successful in terms of tennis, which influenced my continuation and my development in this area, and the Pandemia “Corona” in 2020 also played a role.
While Yannik, I remember that the maximum number of championships in the year in half of 2017 reached the number of tournaments that he played this year is equal to the number of tournaments that I played in my career in juniors. This, of course, matters in experience.
> Why did you stop making tennis? Are you still interested in this?
In fact, I did not stop playing completely, and I am very interested in continuation, if the appropriate opportunity is available. I continued to practice tennis for many years of study at the University in the United States, and I was chosen the best player in my last season, and I was also fought with the general league of universities in which I participated.
In 2023, I decided to follow my higher educational institutions at the University of Manchester, and with this decision my priorities changed, and the study became at the top of my interests at this stage. Currently, I practice tennis in entertainment, and I follow the treatment necessary for shoulder injury, but the desire to return to the competition is still present and strongly when appropriate conditions are available.
As for the most inspiring characters, Al -Bayuk added: “One of the things that inspire me personally is that my grandfather began to practice tennis when he was fifty years old, and he still plays until today, when he is eighty. This is a clear evidence for me that time is not an obstacle, and that returning to sport is possible on any scene, if passion and will. ”
> If you are responsible for the Saudi Tennis Federation and you have a group of young talents, how will you support them and work to emphasize their capabilities?
– I believe that the main element of the development of young players is continuity, so I will definitely organize regular local championships in the form of a weekly league, guaranteeing them a constant participation and constant competitive friction, because a constant game is that it polishes skills and supports mental and technical readiness, and these tournaments can be similar to qualification qualifications for higher levels.
I will begin to support them from an early age and put them in integrated programs related to all aspects: technical, physical and psychological. The importance of the mental aspect of tennis is often reduced, although, in my opinion, this may be the most important factor in the career of any player. That is why I will pay special attention to mental training through specialists in this field, in order to consolidate such concepts as focus, psychological endurance and pressure management, which is one of the foundations of mathematical perfection.
It is also important that the player’s daily life revolves around the sport. I will definitely increase the values of body care, prevent injuries and adhere to a professional lifestyle from an early age in order to ensure the stability and development of the level.
To achieve all this, it is necessary to ensure an integrated mathematical infrastructure. It is necessary to create internal and outer fields, as well as with various types of floors, because the variety in the conditions of learning makes direct importance for the preparation of an integrated player who can adapt to various competitive environments.
I will also work in order to eliminate any obstacles that players may encounter, regardless of whether this is due to the study or the complexity of participation in tournaments, while providing flexible educational programs that allow them to reconcile their educational and sports careers without giving any of them.

> How do you see interest in young talents in tennis in Saudi Arabia?
– I see that we are on the right track, especially in the light of support for the leadership, represented by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman and Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz Bin Turki Al -Faisal. There is clear interest, and competent people working in this area, and I believe that achieving the goal is a matter of time only before we see how a Saudi player compete at the highest levels around the world.

– I would like to highlight the character, which, as I see, is an important role in the future of tennis in the kingdom, which is Omar Abdo. Although he is not a player, he represents the kingdom at international forums in the best possible way, thanks to his outstanding work in the Association of Professional Tennisists (ITB). The presence of people with this effectiveness and experience is very important for transmitting an honorary image of Saudi competencies in the game to improve our presence on the global square.
