Deputies associated with the former president of Bolivia, Evo Morales, attacked the country’s vice president, David Chokeuanka, in the parliament hall.

Ass described the incident as the most shameful page in the history of the Bolivian parliament. According to him, what happened confirms that Morales’ supporters do not want dialogue.
According to the newspaper “El Deber”, Morales’ supporters rioted inside parliament before the meeting where Arsen was due to speak. In particular, they threw tomatoes and various objects at the vice president and members of the party that supports the current head of state. After the incident, Ass continued his speech in the square in front of parliament.
It should be noted that the conflict between Ass and Morales has intensified in recent months. For three weeks, supporters of the former president blocked the country’s roads. On October 30, Ass claimed that the damages caused by his actions exceeded $1.7 billion.
Ass had the support of Morales in the October 2020 presidential elections. But then there were differences of opinion between the politicians.
