“Disney” has announced that it is working on “Ice Age 6.”
Oku.Az informs that this information was given during the “D23 Brazil” festival.
It should be noted that the cartoon will feature all the main characters of the franchise. Actors Ray Romano, John Legizamo, Queen Latifah, Denis Leary and Simon Pegg will reprise their roles.
“Disney” has presented the logo of the animated film, which is already in production. Its launch will take place in 2026. The exact date will be announced later.
The previous animated film of the franchise, the spin-off Ice Age: The Adventures of Buck, was released in 2022. The release of the fifth part “Clash is inevitable” took place in 2016. Thus, the sixth film will be released 10 years after the previous one.
It should be remembered that the first part of “Ice Age”, which started the franchise, was presented in 2002. The animated film was the debut of the “Blue Sky” studio. Disney closed the studio in 2021 amid challenges related to the Covid-19 pandemic.
