The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has published official information on military operations in the Kursk region.

It is reported that units of the Northern Group of Forces, with the support of military aviation and artillery fire, have repelled three enemy attacks in the direction of the settlements of Mikhailovka, Cherkasskaya Konopelka and 10th of October over the past 24 hours.
In addition, attempts at enemy attacks in the direction of the settlements of Malaya Loknya, Korenevo, Kremyanoye and Martynovka were thwarted.
As a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 25 people killed and wounded, three armored combat vehicles were destroyed, including a US-made Max Pro, and two cars.
It should be noted that our army continues reconnaissance and search operations to identify and destroy enemy sabotage groups in the forests that were trying to penetrate deep into Russian territory.
»Air strikes, artillery fire and active military operations defeated concentrations of manpower and equipment of the 22nd and 61st mechanized brigades, the 80th and 82nd air assault brigades, the 92nd assault brigade, the 152nd Jaeger brigade and the 1004th security brigade in the areas of the settlements of Apanasovka, Borki, Vishnevka, Vnezapnoe, Guevo, Cossack Loknya, Lyubimovka, Malaya Loknya, Martynovka, Novaya Sorochina, Novoivanovka, Obukhovka, Sverdlikovo and Snagost.” – the report says.
It is also reported that operational-tactical aviation and missile forces attacked areas of concentration of foreign mercenaries in the Sumy region and reserves of the 22nd and 41st mechanized air assault brigades, 80th, 82nd and 95th mechanized air assault brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the 1st Presidential Brigade, as well as the 101st, 103rd, 107th, 119th and 129th territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The targets of the attacks were in the areas of the settlements of Belopole, Belovody, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Basovka, Glukhov, Kondratovka, Loknya, Svessa, Vladimirovka, Pervomaiskoye, Sumy, Yunakovka and Yampol.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the day amounted to 240 servicemen and 13 armored vehicles, including two tanks, 11 armored combat vehicles, as well as one artillery piece, one electronic warfare station and 10 vehicles.
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 89 tanks, 42 infantry fighting vehicles, 74 armored personnel carriers, 635 armored combat vehicles, 371 vehicles, 85 artillery pieces, 24 multiple launch rocket system launchers, including seven Khimars and five MLRS.
8 anti-aircraft missile system launchers, two transport-loading vehicles, 22 electronic warfare stations and seven counter-battery radars, two air defense radars, eight engineering equipment, including two engineering clearance vehicles and one UR-77 mine-clearing facility, were also destroyed.
