Following a plane crash in the Moscow region, in which two people died, a criminal case has been opened for violation of traffic safety and air transport regulations, the press service of the Western Russian Ministry of Transport and Communications (MSUT IC) reported this.
“The Moscow Air and Water Transport Investigation Department of the Western Interregional Transport Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the basis of a crime provided for in Part 3 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of air transport, resulting in the death of two people due to negligence),” – the message said.
According to investigators, the plane crashed near the airfield near the village of Vatulino, Ruza urban district, Moscow region, and two people died as a result of the incident.
Investigators are currently clarifying all the circumstances, causes and conditions of the incident.
