“What we are asking the Government is to double the amount of the school and material coverage program that it provides to the autonomous communities. Currently, its contribution amounts to 50 million euros and what we are asking is that it be doubled to 100”, defended Ester Muñoz this Monday at the PP press conference held at the national headquarters of Genoa, in Madrid. Muñoz was accompanied by the national spokesperson of the PP, Borja Always. “This aid is frozen because the Government does not care about approving budgets“What is not frozen is the increase in the CPI or taxes,” Muñoz criticized the executive.
The PP’s Assistant Secretary for Health and Education said that the start of the school year for the 2024-2025 school year will be “the most expensive in history.” “There are different studies that say this year the cost per student for a family will be on average almost 500 eurosthat is almost 42 euros more than the previous year. A common EBAU
Finally, Ester Muñoz recalls that this year is the first to be implemented the common EBAU proposed by the PP in all the territories it governs and regrets that the remaining autonomous communities have not joined it for the moment. “We had our initiative for a common EBAU that, as you all know, we presented in July. We have worked for many months, with great effort, with all the autonomous communities to carry out this project that will be carried out next year, and which is currently being negotiated by all our autonomous communities,” he assured.
