Polish skydivers compete for Darwin Award: they nearly die after landing on power lines and roofs at their home in Lesser Poland.
As RMF FM’s correspondent found out, a dozen soldiers from the 2nd Grubeszow reconnaissance regiment landed in the town of Hechlo instead of Blendovo. The wind blew the paratroopers onto rooftops and power lines.
Some soldiers landed on houses in Chekhla, others hung on electric wires and others broke through roofs when landing. One of the soldiers who suffered a knee injury was taken to a medical facility.
