National Police officers arrested a 40-year-old man of Spanish origin in the Elche neighborhood of Torrellano for his alleged participation in ten flights with force committed at different companies, stealing from two of them up to four times in one month.
The police investigation began after several complaints presented by the managers of the premises concerned, in which they declared having been victims of a theft, after becoming aware of the events at the start of their working day.
Through the efforts made during the investigation, officers were able to determine that the perpetrator of these thefts was the same individual. After relying on the victims’ statements and the operating procedure used during the events, he crossed the entrances of the establishments in each of them using force, with his own hands or with very rudimentary tools.
Once identified, the agents were able to verify that the alleged perpetrator of these robberies had his home near the establishments, therefore once the acts had been committed He quickly took refuge in his house to avoid being arrested.
After being located, the officers carried out a police operation which resulted in his arrest, as the alleged perpetrator of the forceful theft offences.
The arrested person, with a history of similar acts, was placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of the city of Elche.
