“In terms of safety, only vehicles without engines and batteries are allowed on Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) trains.”
This was stated by Sanubar Nazarova, spokesperson for Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), in response to a query from baku.ws.
He also noted that it is permitted to transport bicycles on trains:
“On our trains, you can carry a folding bicycle without a motor or battery in the hand luggage area, as well as in the fourth carriage of FLIRT trains, in an open position for 2 bicycles without a motor or battery.”
It is worth recalling that last week a young man who was unable to board the ADY train with a scooter turned to the baku.ws “Hotline” with a complaint.
