Putin emphasized that Russia was the country of the winner

Moscow – President Vladimir Putin called Russia as a winning country praising the role of the country when the Soviet Union defeated Nazi Germany in the Second World War.

The Russian leader made a statement on Wednesday (04/30/2025) in Bona, in the first educational marathon in Moscow, which took place before the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Victory in 1945.

Putin emphasized the victim brought by all the Soviet republics during the war, with a special emphasis on Russian contributions.

“For the sake of victory, no one avoids himself,” he said. “Russia, because the scale, of course, made the greatest contribution to this victory. Russia gave the most son and daughter who died, defending the Motherland and our future together. ”

Putin added that the losers in the war were now trying to give lectures of Russia and “distort the truth.”

Nevertheless, he emphasized: “Russia is without a doubt, is the country of the winner and continues to maintain its position.”

“When I say a“ nation ”, I mean everything, all ethnic groups in the former Soviet Union and, of course, Russia,” Putin said.

Moscow considers the victory over Nazi Germany as a symbol in departing national security, because the Soviet Union, according to estimates, will lose 26.6 million people during the war.

This year, the Russian government gave many invitations, including Chinese, Indian and Brazilian leaders, as well as many other international leaders.

Russia will celebrate the anniversary of the defeat of the fascism of the Soviet Union and will hold the annual parade of Victory Day on the Red Field on May 9.
