The Minister of Environment (LH) Hanif Faisol Norofic showed that the level of waste management in Indonesia currently reaches only 10 percent based on a check in 10 places of final waste processing (TPA). In fact, according to him, the purpose of the National Department of Waste from President President Prabovo Subanto is 100 percent in 2029.
“The National Information Department Management Site mentioned our numbers, the achievements of our waste management, by 39 percent. However, based on the audit that we did in 10 TPA in this country, it turned out that achievements, so far we are only up to 9-10 percent, ”said LH Minister Hanif Faisol at the National Coordinating Department Management Assembly.
He said that this low achievement was noticed from various aspects, one of which was materials for restoration/disposal or recovery means in each TPA, managed by the regional government. Then objects that are not very optimized.
“This figure is quite heavy, fathers. This 100% figure is not only a number of numbers, the number that we cannot just talk about is the number that we cannot simply encourage. This figure is a mandate, a numerical resident of the Republic of Indonesia for the president, ”said Hanif Faisol.
