The Islamic Military Alliance to combat terrorism, led by Saudi Arabia, announced the accession of Cameroon to his membership, thereby becoming forty, united, in a step that reflects the growing commitment of terrorism and increased safety and stability at the regional level.
The announcement was made during the official ceremony at the headquarters of the Coalition in Er -iad, where the Cameroon flag was raised with the flags of 42 member states, in the scene that embodies the unity of the class and solidarity in the fight against terrorism.
Major General Mohamed Al -Magheidi, General Secretary of the Alliance, explained that this step is a qualitative addition to collective efforts to counteract terrorism and increases the effectiveness of coordination and integration in the intellectual, the media, financial and military areas.
Major General Al -Mugiddy highly appreciated the role of Cameroon, active in countering terrorist groups, in addition to his membership in several regional and international initiatives and alliances related to the fight against terrorism, which makes it annex to the “Islamic Alliance” of a blessed step that reflects a general trend in wider security and stability.
For his part, AIA Tijani, the Cameronic ambassador in Saudi Arabia, expressed the pride of his country in joining the coalition, emphasizing that she sees in teamwork an effective and necessary basis for counteracting terrorism in all its forms.
The Ambassador of Tijani highly appreciated the leading role, which is played by the leadership of Saudi Arabia in the unification of the efforts of Islamic countries and friendly countries to combat this phenomenon of Cross.
43 countries work as a “coalition” in a wide and integral part in order to increase collective security, combine efforts to clash with extremist thought, dry sources of terrorist financing and support regional and international stability.
