According to the information, his next project will be a film based on the book “The Dog Stars” by writer Peter Heller.
It is noted that Scott will direct the upcoming film and Mescal will play one of the lead roles.
The novel tells the story of Higa, a pilot trying to survive in the United States after the pandemic that hit humanity. The hero only makes short trips in his small plane to save fuel, but one day he unexpectedly hears a signal from another person and decides to take a big trip.
Filming will begin in spring 2025. The full cast, time and release date have not yet been announced.
