Miami-Dade County (Florida) police released video of the arrest of one of the Dolphins’ stars, the African-American player, on Monday. The video, recorded with cameras worn by the officers on their uniforms, shows how the altercation between Miami-Dade County police officers and Hill quickly escalated. At first glance, it appears to be two officers They chase Hill after he apparently overtakes them at high speed on the highway leading to Hard Rock Stadium, home of the Dolphins. The incident occurred before his team’s debut in the first week of the NFL season.

Actually, get out of the car.” Immediately afterward, the officer is seen, assisted by others, forcefully remove the drive from the vehicle, placing his arms behind his back and laying him face down on the ground while handcuffing him.
At this point, you can see how one of the agents has his knee in the middle of the player’s back. “If we tell you to do something, do it,” he tells him. Given this, Tyreek Hill He replies, “Take me to jail, brother, do what you have to do.” The officers tell him yes, they will take him to jail, to which the player replies, “You’re crazy.”
The agents then recovered Tyreek Hill and they took him to the sidewalk. One officer asked him to sit on the sidewalk, but when Hill refused and informed him that he had had knee surgery, another officer stood behind him, put his arm around his chest, and forced him to sit down. After the video became public, Hill said in an interview on cnn who is still in shock after being arrested by the police.
“I was shocked. It was crazy because everything happened so fast. For me, everything happened so fast that I couldn’t really absorb everything that was going on,” Hill said in the interview with cnnthe first granted after the release of the new footage. The incident has reignited debate over police violence against African-Americans in the United States. Human rights organizations, such as Amnesty International, have repeatedly accused local police forces of using disproportionate violence against the community.
In recent years, the deaths of several African Americans at the hands of the police have shocked the United States and sparked protests and even riots, such as the death of George Floyd in 2020 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Michael Brown in 2014 in Ferguson, Missouri.
