Representatives of parliaments of member countries of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) have arrived in Bishkek, the press service of the Kyrgyz parliament reported.
According to the press service, parliamentarians from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan will take part in the coordination meeting of the chairmen of the defence and security committees (commissions) of the parliaments of the CSTO member states within the framework of the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly (PA) of the organization, which will be held in the Kyrgyz capital.
Before the meeting, delegates laid flowers at the Eternal Flame in Victory Square in central Bishkek.
On September 11, in the city of Balikchi, members of the coordination meeting will participate as observers in the command exercise with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces “Interaction-2024”.
