TS admits to having processed the appeal of Castilla y León against Sánchez for not having convened the Conference of Presidents

The adviser clarified that the Supreme Court admitted the Community’s appeal on September 6 and stressed the need to address at this meeting, among other issues, the amnesty law, the financing system, debt cancellation and the lack of doctors.

On the other hand, González Gago clarified that early this Tuesday morning, the Regional Executive presented the appeal of unconstitutionality against the Amnesty Law, as had been advanced by the President of the Council, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco.

González Gago explained this judicial advance before presiding over the Local Cooperation Council and stressed that the appeal of unconstitutionality, already effective today, highlights that there are “privileges of some citizens over others in the Spanish State.”

Finally, the advisor also assured that The Executive will appeal the “Catalan concert” if this comes to fruition and becomes a reality. “This Community will mobilize all the resources at its disposal to defend the rights and interests of the people of Castile and Leon,” he said.

“I want to make it clear that from the Junta de Castilla y León we will continue to defend the rights and interests of the people of Castilla y León in all areas where it is necessary to guarantee the principle of equality and respect for the rule of law,” said the councilor.
