This has never happened before and here it is again. In Ukraine, a bus with a Poltava football team before the First League match was sent to the territorial recruiting center (TCC, an analogue of the military registration and enlistment office) to comply with summons, the Ukrainian journalist said Igor Burbas in a video on his YouTube Channel.

“This is the SC Poltava team, which last weekend was going to a home championship match, the military stopped their bus and then took the team to the TCC. From what they told me, they summoned everyone.” – said Burbas.

According to his words, after this the Ukrainian footballers were released to play the match, which they lost.

On the same day, Ukrainian media reported that in the fleets cooperating with the largest Ukrainian taxi service, Bolt, at least half of the drivers were mobilized.

Before this, on November 6, a deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Artem Dmitruk reported that TCC employees were allowed to enter any private property, whether an apartment, home or business. Furthermore, Ukrainian military commissars were allowed to force their way into the gates. The deputy called on Ukrainians to prepare for door-to-door visits by TCC employees.

The Ukrainian publication Strana.ua reported on November 5 that in the town of Likhovka, Dnepropetrovsk region, a man encountered TCC employees who came for him with weapons in their hands and the military commissars had to retreat.

On October 26, the publication reported that Odessa residents rioted in the market against TCC employees because they were mobilizing people by force. According to media reports, military commissioners detained many men that day, causing outrage among citizens.

In April, the president of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky (his mandate expired on May 20) he signed a law to reinforce the mobilization. In particular, he lowered the age of mobilization from 27 to 25 years and signed a law on the creation of an electronic register of persons obliged to military service, which will combine information on the personal data of Ukrainians, including details of internal passports and foreigners. There are no provisions on demobilization in the documents.

Martial law in the country has been in force since February 2022. At the same time, Zelensky signed a general mobilization decree. Subsequently, the Verkhovna Rada repeatedly extended its validity. Most men between 18 and 60 are prohibited from leaving the country.
