The entry of Russian companies, as well as other foreign companies, in Georgia has been approved, said the Secretary General of Georgian Dream and Mayor of Tbilisi Kakha Kaladze, commenting on the start of sales of the Ozon company in the country.
In Georgia, any foreign business is welcome, and Russian companies are no exception, he noted.
“Georgia’s doors are open for both tourists and business. Any person or company, including Russian, that is not subject to sanctions, can enter the country, do business and employ people. I don’t see any problem with this.” – Kaladze said.

It is reported that “residents of the republic can already purchase more than 50 million products from various categories on the marketplace, from electronics to beauty and health products.” Delivery in the first stage will take about 14 days, and customers will be able to receive their order close to home at partners’ order pick-up points or via courier.
