At 6:42 p.m., oil was down 4.05% at $68.93.
At the same time, WTI oil for October delivery fell 4.24% to $65.68 per barrel.
Brent futures for November also fell in price, falling below $70 per barrel. At 17:26 Moscow time, futures were trading at $69.4 and WTI at $66.16.
