The situation in the area of Zhuravlevka village in the Belgorod region is difficult, but the village is under the control of the Russian army, said the head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov.
The governor denied rumours that Zhuravlevka was occupied by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“The main question for the governor: what is happening to our Zhuravlevka? Has it really been captured by the enemies? Don’t believe it, there is a lot of false information coming out. We have Zhuravlevka, like a year, a year and a half, and two years ago. We resettled all the residents and now there is not a single person left there. The situation is difficult, there are battles. But it was, remains and will remain Russian territory forever; there is no enemy on it. It is under our control.” – said Gladkov.
