The total number of migrants arriving this weekend – more precisely this Saturday – on the coasts of the Balearic Islands rises to 99, after maritime rescue services intercepted a new boat, with 13 migrants on board, ten miles to the south from Formentera.
According to information provided by the Government Delegation, the last rescue took place this Saturday at 8:08 p.m., when 13 people of North African origin, apparently in good health, were intercepted ten miles south of Formentera.
With these 13 people, the total number of migrants intercepted this Saturday in the lesser Pitiusas amounts to 39 people, all of North African origin, after arriving on board three boats.
