The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called the victory over the “Hamas movement” as a “more important goal” than the return of Israeli hostages in Gaza.
Netanyahu said that the liberation of the abductors is “a very important goal, but there is a higher goal.” He added that during the events, in order to celebrate the “independence of Israel”, that “the highest goal is to defeat our enemies, and we will achieve this”, according to the German information agency, informing the Israeli media, including the Times of Israel newspaper.
And the Israeli Finance Minister Salial Smoki previously expressed the same meaning when he said, in an interview with the Israeli Radio Gali, that the return of hostages from Gaza is not the “most important goal” of the government.
In addition, hostage hostages always accused Netanyahu of dangers to the life of the abductors under the danger of a military operation to destroy Hamas. And 58 hostages are held in gas, out of 251, which were stolen during the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, including 34, the Israeli army announced that they had died.
On the other hand, yesterday, Deputy Minister of the United Nations for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher, demanded that the “cruel blockade” of the agricultural strip, emphasizing that humanitarian assistance and the life of the civilian population should not be a pressure card and not for use for trade.
In his statement, Fletcher described Israel to prevent the entry of assistance two months ago as a “severe collective punishment”.
