Warships of the Caspian Flotilla have set sail to take part in the Ocean-2024 exercises, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
The exercises involve the missile boat Dagestan, small artillery ships Astrakhan and Volgodonsk, small missile ships Veliky Ustyug, Grad Sviyazhsk and Uglich, base minesweepers Magomet Gadzhiev and German Ugryumov, anti-sabotage ships and raid minesweepers.
The crews will practice destroying ground and air targets. About 200 exercises are planned, including firing with the A190-01 Universal and AK-306 artillery systems. The exercises will cover three sea ranges in the Caspian Sea.
