Excavations by Armenian historians prove that Western Azerbaijan is a Turkish-Azerbaijani land

Within the framework of the Western Azerbaijan Chronicle project, the program titled “Traces of the Khojaly-Gadabey culture belonging to the Turks appear throughout Armenia” was presented by Dr.

The program discussed excavations carried out by Armenian archaeologists in the territory of Western Azerbaijan, especially in the Goycha-Shamshaddil regions, and samples found in “Tava Tepe”.

It is reported that Armenian historians, with their love for new claims, as a result of their excavations, unwittingly prove that the territory of Western Azerbaijan is an ancient Turkish-Azerbaijani land.

Doctor of Philosophy and Associate Professor Bakhtiyar Jalilov, examining the historical facts, claims that these finds prove that they belonged to Turkic tribes living in the Caucasus and living in a nomadic style of cattle breeding: “Tava Tepe, which proves the very ancient history of the Turks in the Caucasus, is a rare find and has a history of 3,600 years. Excavation It turned out that the building was too large. The finds discovered during the excavation at “Tava Tepe” surprised everyone. It is a complex building structure and a constantly burning hearth.

According to him, the clay figures with precise facial features found during the excavation are an artifact showing the religious ritual: “A custom that is not found anywhere in the world, namely, they were buried in their entirety after the completion of the ritual. Like the “Göbekli-Tep” monument in “Tava Tepe”, “Tava Tepe” was the religious ritual center of the Khojaly-Gadabey tribes. The Armenians refute it by citing on their behalf the material evidence discovered during the excavation. Traces of the Khojaly-Gadabey culture belonging to the Turks can be found during excavations throughout Armenia.”

In the story, the historian presents more interesting facts and opinions about “Tava Tepe” and other monuments.

It should be recalled that the aim of the Western Azerbaijan Chronicle project is to preserve and promote the name of our historical lands, as well as to learn about the deportation of Azerbaijanis by Armenians, the toponyms that existed in these territories, but their names. Countless examples of underground and surface material culture have been erased: ancient settlements, necropolises, burial mounds, remains of a castle, palace and fortification, caravansary, bridges, burial chests, stone crosses, statues of horses and rams, temples, churches. Mosques, pyres and hearths are revealed, and the facts confirming that the area is a pure Oghuz-Turk settlement are communicated to the world community.

Also the president Ilham Aliyev Regarding Western Azerbaijan, he said: “The map of the beginning of the 20th century once again shows that Western Azerbaijan is the historical land of Azerbaijan, the names of cities and villages are of Azerbaijani origin, and we know very well that Azerbaijani people have lived on the territory of present-day Armenia throughout history. Now the main task is to make the world community aware of this as well,” – according to him, it is about promoting the duties arising from the Concept of Return of the Western Azerbaijani Community developed by him.

It will also enlighten the thoughts of historians and researchers about Western Azerbaijan and the life story of deportees.
