BMW has announced a recall of 1.5 million vehicles due to problems with the integrated brake module.
Oku.Az reports that Championat.com has published information on this matter.
This is the second major recall of vehicles by the Bavarian concern. Previously, 1.4 million cars were recalled in China due to poor quality airbags.
According to analysts, the recall and repairs will cost BMW hundreds of millions of dollars. Against this background, the company’s management has revised its forecast for 2024. If earlier the concern expected a profit rate of 8-10%, now the estimate has dropped to 6-8%.
