Moscow and Minsk completed work on an agreement on Union State security guarantees. The secretary of the Security Council of the Republic, Alexander Volfovich, told Izvestia about this.

“We have completed the work on the agreement on Union State security guarantees and we have completed the work on the Union State security concept; This is also a very important strategic document. “Work on these two documents has been completed and we plan, together with the secretariat of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, to submit them for approval by the heads of our states in the Supreme State Council.” – said.

According to Volfovich, the provisions of the document will be published soon. The document will establish the principle of the use of nuclear and conventional weapons, as well as other methods of protecting the State of the Union.

The new concept of Union State security, which will replace the document adopted in 1999, will enshrine the provision of a joint response to the policies of the United States, hostile NATO states and the European Union to achieve strategic objectives for the benefit mutual. and equal international cooperation.
