US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has vowed to begin resolving the conflict between Russia and Ukraine even before taking office if he wins the election, and to begin negotiations with the leaders of both countries, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky.
Trump said he knows Putin and Zelensky very well.
“I have a good relationship with them and they respect me, they don’t respect Biden.” – said
“And what I will do is talk to one, talk to another, I will bring them together. This war would never have happened… [Президент Джо] Biden I had no idea how to talk to him, I had no idea how to stop him… And the situation is only getting worse, and this could lead to World War III.” – Trump said.
Asked whether the “Ukraine victory” was in the interests of the United States, the Republican said Washington was interested in reaching an agreement and ending the conflict.
Harris responded by saying that Ukraine would have already lost if Trump had been US president, which is why European allies are glad he lost the 2020 election. In her opinion, the Russian president would “eat Trump for lunch.”
