Thanks to the necessary and urgent measures taken by the forces of the Ministry of the Interior, the fire was extinguished without allowing it to spread to a wider area, including the forest strip.
In addition, according to information received about a fire in an open area in the direction of the village of Jutcu in the Jojavend region, the ministry’s forces intervened in the area.
Firefighting units of the State Fire Service and helicopters of the Aviation detachment are currently continuing firefighting measures at the indicated address.
