JAKARTA -Corming the Minister of Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Correctional Institutions, Yusnil Ieza Mahenra, straightened the news related to Vice President Dzhibrin Rakabuin, who, as they said, was based in Papua. Yusril explained that the appointment of Vice President Jib to accelerate development in Papua was based on Article 68a of Law No. 2 2021 regarding the second amendment to Law No. 21 of 2001 regarding the special autonomy of Papua.
“In Article 68a of the Special Law on Autonomy, Papua regulated the existence of special institutions for synchronization, harmonization, assessment and coordination of the introduction of special autonomy of Papua. Special agencies were formed by President Joko Vidodo through Perpres No. 121 of 2022.
He mentioned that the special agency to accelerate the development of special autonomy Papuan headed the vice president and consisted of the Minister of the Interior, the Minister of the PPN/head of Bappenas, the Minister of Finance and one representative from each province in Papua.
