The Elche Local Police has arrested to a 47 year old man who threat with a box cutter and fought with officers at the time of his arrest for fly A electric scooter.
He is accused of attempted murder and attempt against authority. A police team was mobilized at dawn in the city center where apparently a suspect was trying to steal an electric scooter.
When the patrol arrived, several witnesses gave the description and direction of escape of the individual involved, who had abandoned the scooter, the helmet and a metal bar with which he had forced the lock when he was surprised. After several raids in a police vehicle and on foot, they located the individual, who undertook a flight until an officer caught up with him several blocks later.
At that point, the man threatened the officer with a box cutter, but he was subdued after an intense struggle. However, the owner of the scooter was located and informed of what happened.
Faced with this situation, the man was arrested and taken to the police station.
