In Krakow, a Pole set himself on fire in front of the archdiocese building

The condition of the man, who this morning, November 11, doused himself with a flammable liquid and set himself on fire in front of the Curia building of the Archdiocese of Krakow, is very serious and directly threatens his life.

Before setting himself on fire, the man painted a mysterious inscription on the wall of the curia:

“Saint Peter 2009-2024”.

According to a representative of the Lesser Poland police Hubert CieplyWhen firefighters arrived at the scene, the man was completely on fire. As Onet discovered, the man’s condition is very serious. He has extensive fourth degree burns on his body.

The man’s identity was established based on the documents in his possession. He is 47 years old. He is known to reside in one of the cities near Krakow. So far, police have rejected the “political manifesto theory.”
