“Azerbaijan reaffirmed its commitment to the climate process, which is important for children and young people.”
Oku.Az reports that this was said by the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, the president of COP29, Mukhtar Babayev.
He called on everyone to be active in this regard:
“We call on everyone to consider how climate action can contribute to a more sustainable future for children and young people.”
It should be noted that within the framework of the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), held in Baku, a declaration was signed between Azerbaijan and UNICEF.
