“Construction work on the Toganali-Kalbajar-Istisu highway is underway. It is planned to be completed next year. The 82-kilometer-long highway is very important.”
Oku.Az informs that these opinions were expressed by the special representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Kalbajar district at the event “Azerbaijan Health Tourism Conference: Opportunities for Development.” Bashir Hajiyev saying.
He added that the total area of the “Istisu” therapeutic recreation complex, currently under construction, is 34 hectares, and tourists will be able to take advantage of it in several directions.
The special representative of the President also drew attention to the fact that in the city of Kalbajar itself, in the area called the first residential neighborhood, construction works continue:
“Residential buildings with 224 homes are being built.”
Finally, B. Hajiyev noted that design work on the Istisu settlement has already begun.
