One of the most famous works of the founder of the new Russian style of Viktor Vasnetsov (1848-1926) “Bogatyr” returned to his place to the Tretyakov state. This was reported by the Foundation’s press service on the social network.

It should be noted that Vasnetsov has created its own masterpiece for nearly 30 years, and the work became one of the most important works of Russian art in the second half of the nineteenth century. The first Vasnetsov pencil for this fabric was conducted in 1871, in 1989 he got a job Paville Treetakov. From this moment, upward, so far, the “heroes” in the major hall on the second floor of the exhibition.
