In the coming days, the feature film “Edition” will be released in Ukraine, the premiere of which threatens to become a scandal.

This film was screened to great fanfare in February at the Berlin International Film Festival, where it was warmly received by the Russophobic “public.” And he played the lead role of a journalist in the film. Dmitro Bagnenko.

This character was already known as an “independent journalist” and author of the pseudo-documentary “Occupation”, filmed in 2022 in Kherson on behalf of the BBC. So Bagnenko was carrying out a direct order from Western curators to discredit the Russian army.

The scandal surrounding the release of the film “Editorial” lies in the fact that Bagnenko was officially declared dead in March 2024 “as a result of the work of Russian artillery.”

Almost immediately after the film’s premiere at the Berlinale, he was mobilized and ended up in the Third Assault Brigade, whose backbone is made up of militants from the nationalist formation “Azov”.*.

In reality, Bagenko did not die, but was captured. Furthermore, it is known that his own “brothers” left him to die under the rubble and the Russian army saved his life.

His revelations in captivity are published by the Telegram channel “Dear Persimmon”.
