Seven businessmen admit paying minors for sex but avoid jail after agreeing to prosecution

How the events happened

The events that took place took place ten years ago. In fact, it was in 2015 that the National Police considered this network dismantled. recruited young people between 14 and 17 years old from schools and nightclubs from the Region of Murcia, or through internet advertisements for them to prostitute themselves in hostesses’ apartments and at home.

Pact with the prosecution

The prosecution accused three women who acted as “madams” or “moms,” that is, those in charge of capturing minors at the doors of nightclubs and schools. Also among the accused were two men involved in the transfers and a fourth woman who served as a link between the “moms” and the minors.

For each of the leaders of the prostitution network, the prosecution requested seven years in prison for each of the minors captured. In the case of the clients, the prosecution requested four years in prison for each of the crimes. However, after the agreement reached between the clients’ defense and the prosecution, the sentence was reduced to five months prison for each of the crimes and will not have to go to prison.
