The development of the last few years has reached a new maximum. According to the defense of the Constitution, the number of extremists -right in Brandenburg was 1230 – 920 violence. This corresponds to the triple of the number of extremists on the right side since 2015.
According to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Brandenburg Rene Wilke (independent), the recent growth is mainly associated with young people. “Since last summer, young people, especially in the right extremism, were at incredible speed,” Wilke said. “Especially among young people, we are observing that construction blocks are sometimes united with each other without reflection,” said the temporary director of the constitutional defense department of Axel Hidrych.

Among the 3650 extremists of the right are 1400 AFDLER, including the now dissolved alternative to the Junge Junge youth organization. This is 350 more than in the previous year. Not all AFD members are considered the right extremist, at least for now. The State Association of Brandenburg, which claims to be 2600 members, was very exhausted by the then head of the constitutional defense of Yerg Muller in early May as a reliable extremist. Müller was originally released in the dispute, and then the later Minister of the Interior Katrin Lange (SPD) resigned. Since the AFD is in court against the classification, this is considered a suspected case before the decision.
The prospect of the victim of the consulting center, which supports the right to violence in Brandenburg, is not surprised by the recent maximum of extremists of the violent right right: “The fact that the potential of violence has increased, shows our numbers for attacks,” says Marcus Reyner on TAZ Wednesday. The Association registered 273 rights, racist and anti -Semitic attacks last year – also a new maximum.
“It is all the more important to expand the advisory structure – or at least keep it at the current level,” Raynert said. But this is not so. In particular, 25,000 euros were absent to maintain the current advisory service. Without money from 10 to 15 hours of consultation, you will have to get lost. “We need another 60 hours to cover the current need,” Rairen said.
