Albacete will host the national meeting of the Interterritorial Internationalization Council on November 28 and 29an organism formed by the ICEX with all the autonomous communities, the Chamber of Commerce and Spain and the CEOE to promote the international projection of the Spanish economy, and whose half-yearly presidency is ensured during this second semester by Castilla-La Mancha.
This was announced on Wednesday by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Employment, Patricia Francowho stressed that this meeting will make Albacete the epicenter of the internationalization of the national economy, in a province “very dynamic and which demonstrates a great capacity for external projection.”
This body is an important forum for sharing experiences and measures that promote the internationalization of the economy in a double sense, “both in stimulating and increasing exports and to promote the attraction of international investment projects in our territory”, and will be Castilla -La Mancha, within the framework of the presidency of the Council that it exercises during this second semester, is in charge of organizing the meeting, through the Institute for Foreign Promotion (IPEX) of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Employment.
The advisor made the announcement during the breakfast that the Association of Business Women of Albacete and its Province (Amepap) celebrates every year at the FEDA stand at the Albacete Fair, where she also highlighted the work that the association chaired by Toñi Pastrana carries out to make businesswomen and entrepreneurs in the province and region visible, a commitment that she shares with the regional government, the Council reported in a statement.
In this regard, Patricia Franco recalled that before the summer, the Government of Castile-La Mancha requested aid for the start-up and consolidation of independent activity in the region, with a budget of 13 million euros and two direct aid lines: one for the start-up of independent activity with a budget of 3,000 euros, and another for the consolidation of the activity, with a budget of 2,000 euros.
“We are processing more than 5,300 applications that have been submitted to this line, and we have already paid more than 1.5 million euros that are already in the pockets of the self-employed who have started or want to consolidate their activity in Castile. “La Mancha”, said the councilor, who estimated that, of the applications registered, “one in four comes from the province of Albacete, which shows the dynamism of this province in the economic activity of the region”, and that, of a total of more than 5,300 applications, “52 percent come from women, an example of the effort we are making to increase the presence of women in the labor market, including in the field of self-employment”.
THE President of Amepap, Toñi Pastranaannounced during the breakfast that in 2025 one of her goals “will not only be to work for the women’s business network of our province, but also for that of Castilla-La Mancha. “There is a lot of female talent in our region.”

Likewise, Pastrana spoke about the upcoming celebration of the 19th edition of the “Premios Entre Nosotras”, which will take place on November 6, where eight businesswomen from the province will be awarded, and which will take place at the emblematic Teatro Circo, the Association reported in a statement.
