The UAV, which is in service with the Turkish army, thus exceeded the limit of 10,000 flight hours and successfully completed its mission.
It should be noted that TB2 series UAVs have repeatedly proven their effectiveness and reliability and have become an indispensable weapon in the hands of the Turkish army. They were actively used during anti-terrorist operations and helped ensure the country’s security.
“Being in the sky for 10,000 hours is a true heroism for a drone. The aircraft with the serial number “S-5″ honorably fulfilled its duty to the homeland,” the post emphasizes.
Having reached the 10,000-hour mark, TB2 will be returned to Baykar for further testing and research. Instead, the new “TB2” drone will continue the mission of the Ground Forces.
