Musk signed Yakarino (61 years) from the NBC network in the middle of -2023. The billionaire has already fired two -thirds of the labor force that made up the social network, then they still called Twitter, and began to restore it. His main task was to attract advertisers, that Musk was frightened of how he used to abandon the workers, inform them from one day in another by e -mail, as well as their decision to soften the standards of moderation and return the account to users excluded from their violent, racist or macho -machs.
“When Elon Musk and I first talked about his vision X, I knew that it would be the possibility of my life,” Yakarino said in his farewell message. “I am very grateful that he entrusted his responsibility for protecting the freedom of expression, turn the company and turn X into an application for everything,” he said.
Yakarino also had to deal with the day, until the day of management of the company and loading from these tasks to Musk, which holds management positions in six other companies, including Tesla or SpaceX. The situation reached the maximum point that Musk came to recognition, saying that in 2024 the X was “on the verge of bankruptcy.” Nevertheless, Donald Trump’s victory in the 2025 elections reconciled a social network with a wonderful part of advertisers, which after that ceased to consider the X as a toxic platform in order to be the taste of the new president.
The social network graduated from scoring the ghosts of bankruptcy in March last year, when Musk decided to sell X under the XII, its startup of artificial intelligence. This, whose products are trained in the activity of the platform users, caused their value and have much more easily access to financing capital risk funds.
