Multinational technology company GMV has announced the strategic acquisition of 100% of Autek, a leading Spanish company in multi-domain systems. The current Autek management team will lead the cross-domain business at GMV globally.
With 25 years of experience, Autek is dedicated to developing cross-domain products, systems and solutions, which enable the secure exchange of information between different domains based on predetermined security policies, without compromising data security.
These solutions are essential in complex military systems and in all systems that require high levels of security, whether in the space field, as in the case of the Galileo satellite navigation system, or in the security field, as in applications for the protection of critical infrastructures. In addition, they have obvious applications in public administration and business environments, among other areas.
Autek is the first Spanish manufacturer of Cross-domain products with its own technology and has the certifications of the National Cryptologic Center (CCN) and NATO, which guarantees compliance with the highest security standards.
Manuel Sanz, founding partner and director of Autek, assured that the integration of the company into GMV will allow “to address new developments in R&D”. For GMV, this operation is of a strategic nature, as it expands its offer as an independent Spanish integrator in the defense sector, allowing it to access essential niche technologies in the field of defense and security.
Specifically, cross-domain solutions provide a strong competitive advantage in the area of command and control networks and joint intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (JISR) systems.
