In the town of Konotop in the Sumy region of Ukraine, a critical situation with electricity and water has developed following a Russian night attack on local energy infrastructure.
This was reported by the Ukrainian publication “Strana” on September 12, citing a statement by the city’s mayor. Artem Semenikhin.
“The power supply situation in Konotop is simply critical. The power infrastructure has suffered significant damage.” – said.
The mayor stressed that, first of all, the power supply will be restored to the hospital and the water company. And no one dares to predict when electricity will be available in residential buildings, at least every hour.
